The so-called "Steam-API"-argument is a simple lie from my point of view. The toolset is complete open-source and can be used out of the context of Steam. Indeed the developers behind "Age of Wonders 3" for example lie when using that. And also the team behind "Viktor Vran" seems giving nothing about a DRM-free release for Linux. Waiting now since two months for the version. This is ridiculous. :-(

I just decided to buy the game, but than I realized it is not available on Linux. This is strange, since Steam lists it as a Linux game. Since there is nothing to be found about the WINE compatibility I will pass for now.

There is a "Linux-Version" available, but via Steam only. There is no boxed version.
As there are so many different Linux-versions, we only officially support x64-Versions of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS & Ubuntu 14.10/SteamOS.
