In the Mac version, the first two levels work fine, but then the ganes hangs trying to load the third. Definitely rushed to release too early. The loading progress bar gets to about 90%, the music keeps playing, but Activity Monitor reports that the game is not responding and leaving it for 10 minutes doesn't result in any progress.
It appears that the repeatable crash was due to another program forcing the use of the discrete GPU. On the integrated one, the game works a little bit more reliably, but:

- It seems impossible to quit the game without it crashing
- The game doesn't write the progress to disk immediately, so when it crashes, it forgets how far you've progressed and you're forced to reload a save game (and to start a level and save before you can quit, though this doesn't work very often)
- Trap placement is unreliable - it locks in one position and then refuses to rotate until you select something else.
- The loading is badly in need of optimisation. Even with an SSD, it takes ages, but doesn't appear to be touching the disk and is using only one core (and often not even at 100%).

Non bugs:

- Removing the call to arms spell (or whatever it was called in Dungeons II) makes defending a dungeon more annoying.
- Manual traps seem to completely defeat the point of having traps.

Note to developers: Including all versions in the beta release period is a good idea!
So far I am loving the game for its game play. However it appears as though the multiplayer really needs to lose the matchmaking requirement. The fact that the game cannot be played on LAN without an internet connection due to needing the matchmaking service is not really in the spirit of GOG.

Also it seems like (And I could be completely wrong) the basic game play requires an internet connection? My internet dropped tonight for about an hour and I went to play the game and the map just didn't seem to want to generate and load. It was very frustrating.

Anyway, all things considered it is a great game. Solid game play, fairly good performance and amazingly fun and cute to boot.
In Linux version you cant move the map to the top with the mouse. You can move the map sideways and down but you can not move it to the top with the mouse.

Still you can move the map with the arrow keys on the keyboard but that is not a good solution for an rts game.

Playing on Xbox one. I've completed ups and downs twice but the next level hasn't unlocked. Not sure what I'm supposed to do about that
I would love a difficulty increase. The game as it is now is far too easy. Playing on Hellish on the largest map size.
On my iMac (2011) the game did not start proper. It only shows a black screen with the cursor. In the console i got the error message:
[Default] Error> This custom render path shader needs to have at least 2 passes.
This custom render path shader needs to have at least 2 passes.

Maybe a problem with the graphic card (AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB) ?
Greetings.

Today's patch (Nov 20) absolutely screwed audio for me. Had zero issues before, but I'm experiencing some of the audio issues this patch should fix.

For example, if I press escape on campaign, music stops randomly. Then, voices start to disappear as well. And lastly, any other sound. A couple sounds do come back randomly, only to vanish again.

It would seem wise for The Game-Developing-Evil to double check the steps taken.

Feel free to ask any info I can provide to solve this.

I have exactly same problem! Did you find any solution to this?
Random crashes ( For-No-Particular-Reason ), as in kernel hard locks.
Game will not exit without locking up.

Windows 10 x64
AMD FX-9590 ( 4.7Ghz, 8 Cores )
DDR3-2133 32Gg.
AMD RX480 ( 8Gg. )

Update :
Turned down the graphics to low on everything.
Still crashes occasionally, hangs indefinitely on exit.

Hi,

I am having problems entering the multiplayer mode as the game freezes every time I click on the multiplayer mode from the main menu and every time I try to play coop. After freezing, I am stil able to move the cursor, but the game does not respond and is hardly closed. After freezing, the Dungeons 3 process is shown as 'inactiv' in the taskmanager.

Installed the game with the GOG Galaxy launcher.

Already tried to reinstall the game, ran it as admin and in compatibility mode. Made an exception in my Firewall, closed my antivirus-program and updated my nvidia drivers, but nothing worked.

My specs:

-Windows 10 pro x64
-AMD FX 6350
-8GB DDR3 RAM
-Geforce GTX 680

hope someone can hep me, as I would really like to use the Coop-mode :)
The game dungeons 3 is excellent and very funny, but the hand that follows the mouse is annoying, I prefer that the hand is the mouse, it would also be good to include the spell to get inside the creatures as before in dungeon keeper, it would be excellent if you also include a LAN mode and not only online multi-player, because in some future servers of this game will stop working and we will never be able to play with our friends

Got the game on here and while there is Russian localization (text + audio) on Steam, GOG is missing the Russian language. :(
