When I first installed the game it ran just fine at the normal settings.

Once I closed the game and tried to relaunch (only about 2 hours later) the game will not load and gets stuck on the first loading screen (the one with the dots in the bottom left hand corner).

I have not found any solution that works online and wanted to see if anyone else was having this problem and may know how to fix it.

I have changed the compatibility mode, ran as administrator, & even tried launching from file location instead of GOG (was recommended in another form) but nothing will let the game launch past the dots.

I cannot even in stall it, and there are no offline installers listed.

Have you tried going to your game library via the website and not via Galaxy? All offline installers are there ready to download, just checked and there is no problem to download. Hope this helps.

Not too long ago, I had a similar problem with an unrelated game (Battle for Middle-earth 2), and it turned out that there was a frozen instance of the game's process left, with allocated memory space and DirectX resources and all that. If this does not occur after you restart your PC, it could be that.
