So lately this problem became really annoying.

Sometimes, when i try to save the game i get the following error: "SmartHeap Library - Out of memory. Please free some memory then chose retry". Then the game crashes to desktop. In the early parts of the game this was very rare, so i could live with it. But now, about 80 Hours in, it happens a lot, something like every second or third save i make crashes the game.

It's slowly becoming unplayable because of this, and i seem to have quite a lot of the game before me. Anyone had tihs problem?

Managed to find the solution to this myself. Just download the Large Address Aware patch, and use it on the game executable. This forces the game to use more than 2 GB of RAM. I thought the mod alerady patched the executable, but apparently not
