i made batch file that launches any map you have
i dont want to post here compiled stuff so ill give u script for it and you need to make bat yourself
Here is what u need for gog version
pastebin.com/raw/CH6PWLaA
AND HERE IF U HAVE ORIGINAL VERSION < not gog one
pastebin.com/raw/wLKQTTKR
to make bat out of it
rightclick to desktop create new txt file open it
go to the link above which will show u just plain text
click anywhere on it hit CTRL + A then CTRL + C
go back to file and click anywhere inside of it and hit CTRL + V
save it and name it whatever u want JUST BE SURE TO REPLACE .TXT with .BAT
Place it in game folder next to DKII.exe and just launch it
all u need to know on how to use it will be displayed when u launch it
if you want go uber retarded like me u can use iconsExtract nirsoft.net/utils/iconsext.html to extract icon from exe file or just type Dungeon Keeper 2 ICO download in google
i never liked icon that comes with gog
then u can use Bat to exe techworld.com/download/system-desktop-tools/bat-exe-converter-3200-3329959/
to turn bat into exe file and give it proper icon
just dont choose invisible application
and u select icon in version information tab
and thats pretty much it
screen for preview

As a side note i wanna add configuration for dg voodoo
BUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT ONLY WORKS IF U HAVE ORIGINAL GAME AND NOT GOG VERSION
original game + dgvoodoo works allot better than gog version alone
download dg voodoo from here dege.freeweb.hu
extract it and from its folder take
D3DImm.dll
DDraw.dll
dgvoodooCpl.exe
and place them in game folder next to DKII.exe
run dgvoodooCpl.exe
if something does not makes sense to you the type in youtube dgvoodoo configuration watch few movies and it will make sense
anyway first thing u wanna do is click .\ in upper right corner left from Add
this will make path of configuration file set to current folder
next UN CHECK everything in General tab and ur done here
next click DirectX tab
here UN CHECK everything but MAYBE if u care to see how it works leave Force vSync checked
Videocard = ATI Radeon 8500
VRAM = 64
Texturing = Force anisotropic x16
Resolution = choose yours
Antialiasing (MSAA) = x8
now hit OK and just launch the game
60 FPS
wide Screen
no lags or speed ups
what else could u wish for
