When I run the game the intro video pauses (while the sound continues working), and if I skip the video with ESC I see the game menu, but also the image is paused and it does not work...

I am afraid this is a compatibility fail with Windows 7... Please help me!!

Load the "Graphic Mode Setup" shortcut from your Start Menu > Dungeon Keeper Gold [GOG.com] and change the Graphic mode from "Surface" to something like "OpenGL" or "Direct3D". See which one works best, hopefully this will fix the problem.

DOSBox is cross-platform and you shouldn't have any problems with it on Windows 7.

JDOGamer: DK Gold not working after Mac OS Catalina installed!
OS X Catalina is known not to be Windows 7, so this is probably not the same problem reported 5 years ago. If I had to guess from the very limited information provided, I would guess that Dungeon Keeper Gold requires 32-bit support. OS X Catalina is known not to have working 32-bit support. As a quick fix, use a system that has working 32-bit support: OS X before Catalina, any recent Linux, or any recent Microsoft Windows.
