Grombart: And DK2 runs even worse than DK1! I'm about to lose faith in the quality of GOG games. I used to pay them because with them i don't have to worry to get these old games to run. But the unstableness of DK2 is just ridiculous!

the_voivod: Can't be as bad as Blood 2, surely ;)? In the whole time I've owned that game I've never once got that sucker to work on my main computer, regardless of 'fixes'. My lesser computer lasted thirty seconds.
Don't own Blood 2... ;) and if it stays that way DK2 will be my first GOG game that makes absolutely no sense to play because of the random and frequent crashing.

Maybe playing in 800x600, like someone in another thread posted, fixes the random crashes. If that's the case i'll be happy again. But nonetheless should GOG test better and give advices on how to play the games if necessary (like "we can only guarantee stable gameplay when playing without hardware acceleration and on 800x600 resolution"). ANd they should post this somewhere where you see it BEFORE YOU PAY! ;)
I like to know if the GOG release of DK2 made any change beside the installation process compare to the CD version with patch 1.7.

As a user, I try my best effort to fix this game by posting bugs.
