Hi all,

A few days ago when I loaded my saved game on DK Gold (I believe it was Level 9, Moonbrush Wood), I began having issues with the color of certain types of tiles on the screen. Namely: walls, hatcheries, and gold. They've gone white (image attached.) I've tried launching the game in different compatibility modes and tried all the different graphic options in the graphic setup, but nothing resolved the issue.

If I start a new game, it's fine. But continuing on my saved file, even after completing that dungeon and starting a new one, the issue persists. Anybody have any ideas for a possible fix?

I far as I know that's not a graphical issue. That's one of the few levels that has snow instead of dirt. I could be wrong but if you look at the ground where your creatures walk, you will see footsteps. I've only seen footsteps on those particular levels.

If that's the level with 4 question mark shaped gold seams to the north, then it is definitely a snow level.

There's also snow crystals drawn on the walls, so yes this is a winter-level. Also if you look at where the ensign is placed on the overworld map before you start the level you can see it is on a snowy peak.

There are actually 8 different tile sets (most of them not used in the campaign:

0: Standard
1: Ancient
2: Winter
3: Snake key
4: Stone face
5: Big breasts
6: Rough Ancient
7: Skull relief
Wow, I feel dumb now. ::facepalm:: Thanks, guys.

I've never played around with any map editing before, so I did not know there were so many variety's. Neat.
