Hi. I just purchased Duke3d from GOG and I have it running well on eDuke32. I've been playing single player a bit and now I downloaded the giant mod packs over at duke4.net (5000 maps + 150 TC's)
I then tried to use them.
Does anyone know how to use mods with eduke?
It says you can have a custom content folder on the launcher, so I create a directory called "Mod's". It shows up in the launcher, but when I put the mod in there (GRP and what not) it doesen't show up under "Game" in the launcher.
What am I doing wrong?
I also tried putting the mod in the main folder but that didn't work either.

If you have the mod in the main folder rename eduke32.exe to duke3d.exe.then launch the bat file that comes with the mod.Also make sure the grp and whatever else the mod comes with is in the main folder and not just the mods folder.
If theres no bat file create a shortcut for eduke and add this to the properties
/xtcgame.con /gtc.grp
obviously replace tc with the real file names.
For example if you want to play duke tournament you would put this in the propertys
/xdtgame.con /gdt.grp

You could make a directory for each mod, as long as you rename their GRP and main CON files to DUKE3D.GRP and GAME.CON -- which is required for EDuke32 to recognize custom folder content.
