The Duke himself has all but confirmed Duke Nukem Forever in a recent panel discussion at MAGfest. A fan asked Jon St. John, the voice of Duke Nukem, about the status of the mythical game. "I'm not allowed to speak on that subject, sir," St. John explained. "He's asking about Duke Nukem Forever, let me go ahead and tell you right now that I’m not allowed to talk about Dukem Nukem Forever. The crowd of course groaned in disappointment to the statement, to which St. John facetiously responded, "No, no, don’t be disappointed. Read between the lines. Why am I not allowed to talk about it?"

Because of the lawsuit with Take-Two? :P
That's pretty far from a confirmation. Also, does anybody still care?

I'll believe it when the game is actually installed on my HD.
I'd love to see the game released just like everyone else, but this is old news. I thought I read this before the whole cave in of 3D Realms and all *IF* I remember correctly.
If you dig around you can find some demo reels and stuff. The game was pretty far along. I'm sure it would have been scrapped again for a new engine though. The game would have been fine and would have had a release if George Broussard wasn't a nut case from what everyone can tell.
That just means Jon St.. John is in on the joke.
Better for Duke to go out with a bang (lol), than to end up on a mediocre sequel. Not implying with certainty that DNF is bad, but I'd rather have no Duke than a bad Duke.
