When I want to play with Dream Pinball 3D, I have this error message:

Did you installed DX9? If you're using Vista/Win7 you may have only DirectX 10 installed.

I have XP and haven´t intall any DX9? What is it?

You may find latest version here.

In short, DirectX is needed in most multimedia programs on your computer. Windows XP should come with DX9 installed, but maybe yours isn't up to date.

Is it ok to install DX9 over DX11 in Windows 7? Will this get Dream Pinball going?

DX9 installs next to DX11 without overwriting.

Thank you! DX9c from that link solved the problem (7_64) the two versions for DX9c M$ download presented me with didn't (version 27 instead of 33 of that file).
