Greetings,

My GOG Galaxy (v1.2.34) is trying to update Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, and it keeps failing with the following error dialog box:

---------------------------
DirectX Setup
---------------------------
Invalid command line switch.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

If I attempt to update the game by running patch_dragons_dogma_dark_arisen_1.0.0.17_(12349)_to_1.0.0.18_(12573).exe (from the GOG website), however, the installer will state that the game is already up to date (even on my first time running that update .exe).

I'm running GOG on Windows 10 Pro with a non-administrator account, hence I get the Windows UAC prompt before GOG attempts to update the game (after which I get the DirectX Setup error dialog). If I dismiss the DirectX Setup error dialog, GOG will attempt to install the update again, and I will see the Windows UAC prompt again.

Thanks in advance for any tips and solutions!

Windows 10 needs to have DirectX 9 installed. You can get it here

Thanks for the info, Hickory! Before I installed DX9, that DirectX setup error dialog stopped popping up after a few retries, and I was able to launch the game (though I never started a game). I might already had DX9 installed for some other games, but I installed DX9 from your link just for good measure. Thanks again!
