Ginnungagapp: Not sure this will fix the problem in your case, but you can easily check the "DDDA.sav" file to see if the "mGalaxyID" value is equal to "0", and if it is the case, fix the problem with this method.

GhostSlinger: When I tried to run "DDsavetool.exe -u DDDA.sav" to Convert "DDDA.sav.xml" with "DDsavetool.exe, it failed.

It says Error: Uncompress failed. Data error.

Does it mean I wouldn't be able to see myGalaxyID value?
This likely mean the DDsavetool.exe utility fail to open your savegame. This can be an issue with the utility itself, or with the savegame file itself (if the file is really corrupted/broken).
Sorry, I can't help more. Maybe, try to see if more help is available from where you downloaded the utility, or from the official game or Gog support.

LiefLayer: One small question:
If I don't use gog galaxy where the save are stored? What is that make the save file incompatible with the steam version (for example)?
Finally if I backup my offline save file, will I be able to restore it after a while?

Thiev: Saves are stored in the same place, regardless of Galaxy being installed or not.
Steam saves use SteamID for identification and thus will not load if that record is missing from the save.

There should be no problem whatsoever with offline backups.
Hello Thiev - perhaps you can help me as well?

I seem to have a similar problem. Whenever I launch the game I get a message saying "Failed to load saved data. Delete the corrupt data and start again?".

My Gog Galaxy 2 is configured to store Dragon Dogma save games in the cloud, so it should help I guess!

Thank you in advance.
