I own this on both GOG and Steam and did a deep comparative between the 2 games looking at the nativePC folder and made an archive of all the different files between the 2. Basically you extract the "rom"and "sa" folders into your "nativePC" folder in your install directory for DDDA.

I've tested it for about 4 hours (edit: 16 now) now without any issues or crashing yet!

It comes to 4.58GB and i have no idea where to host it if anyone wants to try it out.... If you can tell me a place to upload it I'll do so and edit in a link here: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/685/

Uploaded to Nexus mods, everything you need to know is in the details page, have fun all!

GOG=Steam
in what sense?

Steam has the HQ texture patch and these 3 bugs Patched Japanese input error, Inflection ability fix, and Trapping of Evil quest fix. You don't NEED it, but the mage skill is doubling the damage you take instead of halving it and for Trappings of Evil basically you cant upgrade a single item piece of that quest or you cant do it.

Minimally what i did made the game look prettier, but even without this the game looks fantastic, still need to test mage skill and that quest.

In other words, you have done the work that Capcom should have done years ago (providing the latest updates to fix the issues with the game, that they uploaded to the Steam version but refused to include with GOG's). While I would love Capcom to be put to shame by a patch provided by a user from the community, I wouldn't want you to face legal problems for sharing game files without permission.

Yeah but this one I like much better: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/68
Sadly this would be a client side fix, at most.

The Pawn System problems, which is IMO the biggest issue with the GOG release, most likey are located on the server side :(

Pawn system problems?

If you return a rented pawn most of the time it won't register for the owner. The owner won't receive any RC, the pawn won't keep the learnt knowledge and any gifts you made will be lost to the void.

There is some very slim chance to make it work if the stars align properly and you have those specific conditions that nobody was able to find out so far how to make it work reliably.

What has happened with this? Is there a link to the patch?

I never found a place to host it, I still have the file its pretty damn big but I'll upload it where ever for everyone. Its not really a mod but I'll see if NexusMods lets me upload there. If it does i'll post a link, any other suggestions would be welcome!

I would of said something along the lines of Mega as I don't know what Nexus will allow. However it doesn't hurt to check. Thanks for looking into it just the same, as well as putting the missing files together. Not like we will see it from Capcom or General Arcade.

Unfortunately, Nexus won't allow files bigger than some GBs, so probably it won't work depending on the size.
