Hi, a few days ago I started playing and I found out that your friends' pawns are free. Someone could add me so I can use your pawns, please.

What's your Steam profile name? My pawn is currently lvl 29, lvl 2 Sorcerer with lvl 9 Mage spells to fall back on. Her name is Rivia. I play regularly so her level may change quickly.

Disclosure: Somebody hired my pawn when she was level 4 and she came back with 750,000 RCs and knew every area, every beast and every quest AS FAR AS I CAN TELL. I don't know how that happens, but I hope she hasn't been tampered with. I don't know how to so it wasn't me if she has.

Yeah, sorry. I'm currently playing on Steam and in my defence I had just woken up when I posted that. :$

Anyway, I have it on GOG too. I don't know how to add friends on GOG (without stumbling across your pawn), but I have a game going there, too. Nobody has ever hired my pawn on GOG. My pawn on GOG is a level 23 Strider, also called Rivia.

Edit: Ok, seems you have to be 'friends' in GOG. I've sent you a friend invite.

Got your friend acceptance. Unfortunately, your pawn only has 2 fire spells and Anodyne/Halidom. Where's Levin, Ice Boon or Grapnel?

You need Ingle (for most) and LEVIN (for Cyclops). Frazil is useless, but Frigor is awesome. Also fire and ice BOONS at low level. Anodyne is good, but NOT high anodyne (takes too long to cast). Don't really need Halidom but it's not a bad thing.

Nobody who's serious about having their pawn hired wears the Queen's dress. Seriously!

No. Stay with mage until she's 9th stage. Low level recruiters always need mages as backup/support.

Another tip for levelling your skill and not your pawn: fight the lowest level animals you can. You get the same DP but much less XP. DP is important in moving up stages, not XP. Fight the bison up by Gran Soren. Do some grinding there. When they stop spawning., rest or go somewhere else and come back. You don't have to dash off and do the story quests.

another tip if your huning bison, collect the meat they drop
and sell it once it becomes sour for extra money
early game i get alot of cash doing this as i farm up my DP
it also allows for easy practice for new skills/spells

after some time passes they will become lootable again
their contents are also randomized from a pool of items that, it can contain

Grinding will get you money. Exploring will get you items and equipment. Eventually you'll be able to buy better stuff from Gran Soren and other places. You can then upgrade them as you like.
