Hey guys,

Here you can find the Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen - Official FAQ. If you have any additional questions about the game, then please feel free to ask them in this thread.

Cheers!
Anyone taken the Windows XP leap of faith? That DX9 requirement gives me false hope.
No Japanese voice-overs? Crap!

There's a mod for that. English voices aren't bad though. The Japanese voices were added later when the Dark Arisen expansion came out. Originally the game was fully voiced in English, even the Japanese version.
Thanks for the faq.

Yeah, I know. I don't really mind the English voices. Still, I found the Japanese voices much more enjoyable...especially when it came to the repetitive comments of the Pawns because, then, at least I couldn't understand them. :P

Ironically I have the mod, yet I don't even use it as 90% of the voice work is commendable, mostly due to the fact that they went with UK actors and didn't use US localization for the most part!

Caveat: US domestic voice-work is normally exemplary in comparison to their localization, as 80% of it is done with the same care as a Saturday morning cartoon...

2 Questions:

Does this game need Galaxy?

Do I have the option of playing story mode without Pawns?

For online pawns, yes.

Nop. The game automatcally chooses a pawn fo you.

A shame. My thanks for putting a mind at ease.

You can just kill the first pawn and play without any from there on though. Or maybe you can dismiss him, dunno. But the game is a lot harder without pawns, I think. Especially earlier on.
Thank you. I'm assuming you need no client when playing single player?

Thank you, Asrashas. I will look into that.

Yes, I think one follower would be alright but I think he'd die anyway, but it seems like Dogma might've made them intelligent or hearty enough to survive, I'm just worried because many times in these types of games, followers/pawns are very limited when it comes to stealth but hopefully you could successfully command them to wait eternally.

Is the DLC Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Masterworks Collection which is available on steam also included in this ?
