Wagner235: I saw an update (again) and decided to test it. When I loaded my latest save, I was in the camp, and while running through it, I constantly have minor stutterings, which is annoying. I am pretty sure that before this update, I had no issues like this.
Seriously guys, can you just leave this game alone and let moders make fixes? Somehow you just managed to break this game AGAIN.
Hirako__: Why would you update if don't want the game to be changed? Better don't update while you play. Sadly I cant even see what this update does but my guess would be its that CPU change(how many cores the game uses) again that causes the problems...
This would explain a lot, i was wondering what has changed and wasnt aware of a new update
I strangely got rid of a lot of stuttering issues by changing my DA origins affinity in task manager to use all cpu cores available.
my CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 5700x 8-core processor
in my particular case i am able to replicate the issue every time i load a save and create a new character, and the issues prevent me from moving past Ostagar at the start of the game where the Darkspawn cut scene begins after speaking to the king.
only by enabling all cores does it move past the cutscene normally, i dont know what causes it but if it works for me it works.
