I just installed DAO on my computer. At first I couldn't launch the game because the system said I was missing the file "physxloader.dll." Clean rebooting my system fixed this issue. Now though when I click "Play Game" from the little popup you get when you first launch the exe file and I get to the main in-game menu, the "New Game" button doesn't highlight when I mouse over it and it doesn't respond to mouse clicks. All the other links in the menu highlight and respond to the mouse. I am at a loss. I've searched the web and can't find anyone who seems to have had my same issue. I restarted my computer again and still nothing.

Unbelievable that it's October 13th and you still haven't gotten an answer. I am having the same problem. GOG, can you provide a solution? This is unacceptable.

Did you try to run the game in windowed mode? Additionally make sure that you've disabled your antivirus and/or firewall software. You can also try to log to your BioWare account. I know the game is supposed to be DRM free, but it won't hurt to try that as well.

I was doing this as well
I had this exact same problem. In my case it was Overwolf that was causing the problem.
