Hi. Brad here. I have just bought Origins online. I have already begun the installation process, however it has been at least five hours and the download is only 33% complete. Just wondering if anyone here knows how long a download this size should generally take?
My sincerest thanks to anyone who can solve this for me as soon as possible, it's nearly 4 am in the morning and I need to get some sleep :-)....

You may have to leave it on over night or switch off and resume the download tomorrow (if you're using Galaxy to install, that is). It's a big game, 25Gb and it took me a full day on my slow internet (about 400kbs DL). The timeframe would depend on your internet speed though.

As squareinc said Origins is a huge DL & if your estimate is accurate you should have it a couple hours after after this posting.

For me, it was more in the neighborhood of 60+ hours (broken up over a number of days) to get it (which I had to pause & resume to use the "unmetered" time I'm allowed as the size is more than double my monthly allotment of bandwidth.)

Thanks for your response, I'm relieved that this is not uncommon and must happen to just about everyone who downlaods a game this size. I did actually leave the game to install overnight, and when I woke up, this afternoon, lol, the GOG downloader crashed and I am now in the process of downloading the thing all over again... Oh, and it was 98% complete when I had to restart my computer and discovered that I had to do this as well!
