How to import saves to Keep when EA servers are now gone?

You don't actually import saved games into Dragon Age Keep.
You just pick a default hero of the right sex and background.
Rename him/her and upload your portrait pic from your saved game.
Then you just reconstruct the major decisions in the tapestry.
