When I try to launch the game through GOG the game crashes at the startup dragon intro but when I launch the game without GOG the game doesn't crash. Does somebody know how to fix this? I'd like to be able to play it through GOG because it counts my game hours and syncs my saves.

Last time I played DA:O through GOG it worked without issues.
Same here. I think it's a bug and we need to inform GoG.
Mine too. he crash box comes up saying physXLoader.dll not present and suggests a reinstall. reinstalled twice with the same result.

Suggestions?

I Informed GOG about it last weekend. Their temporary solution is to disable In-game overlay and it works!

Well your problem isn't excatly the same as mine. I suggest that you update your graphics driver and also if you have NVIDIA card make sure to install the latest version of PhysX System Software.

The solution never arrived. It still crashes at the dragon EA intro and the redist file doesn't help. Oh well, I heard anything made by Bioware after KOTOR is subpar trash anyway, so I'll consider these two dollars as a gesture of gratitude for Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, and Neverwinter Nights with the add-ons. Back to Underrail.
