Does the GOG version of DA:O have some kind of "blocker" so that the Origin game launcher system does not hijack the game?

When I purchased the three Mass Effect games, I had to install Origin. When I did this, Origin found my Kingdoms of Amular game and original DA:O game I installed from discs. Afterward, I could not play either game without Origin running, or Origin would auto-start (kind of like Galaxy does now).

I just bought DA:O here and have it installed. I have not installed Origin yet (re-installed Win 7x64). Will Origin try to hijack DA:O from GoG if I reinstall it now? I'd like to get back into Mass Effect but worry about Origin.
