Hi everyone,

My laptop is equipped with a GTX 1050 4GB, but utilizes the integrated HD630 to drive the display and it appears GZDoom is incapable of using the nVidia GPU. The setting "Notebook Switchable GPU" under Options->Display Options doesn't seem to work, and neither does forcing it from nVidia Control Panel.

What's strange is the fact that Task Manager indicates an 80% load on the Intel GPU and a load of 30% on the nVidia one at the same time. This isn't normal behaviour and the result is that after 10-15 minutes of play my frame rate tanks below 25 with VERY inconsistent frametimes (over 100ms at times), but temperatures are ok.

Any ideas?
No answer I could give that would prove useful but if no one else here can offer advice, you might try asking on the Doomworld forums in the source port section.
your best bet is to try to get in touch with the developers so that they can add support for nvidia optimus to GZDoom.
