I've recently installed the classic DOOM 3 game using GOG Galaxy Client software The game seems to download and install okay but every time I select "Manage installation->Verify/Repair" the Galaxy client software downloads a 97MB file and updates the game. It does stop to ask me whether or not I want to do this as I have unchecked "install automatic updates". I'm not happy about this because I don't even know if it's verifying the downloaded files that already exists or it's just blindly doing this upon demand. There is no damned explanation whatsoever as to why I can select the same option multiple times and it downloads the same 97MB update everytime.

Seriously? Tell me WHY it's happening, show me the data. "We found corrupt files, these are the corrupt files, we have a patch for this issue, do you want to download and install it NOW (Y/N)?"

How hard is that?
