My character died (or rather got disassembled, seeing it was WX-78) in a cave.
As usual, it reappeared at the cave entrance. However, after going back to the cave to retrieve the stuff left when it died and climbing back, WX-78 was respawned at the touchstone!
And all its stuff is left at the cave entrance...
