I have a problem with my copy.
Some time ago, I installed Don't Starve Together from my Steam account (to play with my friend). Since i did this, my Don't Starve from GoG stopped working. I tried uninstalling Steam version of DST and even deleted the whole C:\Users\[myusername]\Documents\Klei settings directory but the problem still persists:
1. I am running the game. Shipwrecked title screen with menu is displayed.
2. I am choosing "New game" etc, game begins to load
3. Suddenly, instead of showing loading screen, i am back on title screen - for Vanilla version of Don't Starve. o_O
In C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\Games\Dont Starve\goglog.ini i have found entry:
Dir_0=C:\Users\[myusername]\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarve
I noticed the mentioned directory does not exist, so i created it manually and tried to start the game again. The problem still persists and even after I quit the game the \Klei\DoNotStarve directory is still empty.
Another strange thing i noticed - my user settings are not saved. For example - the game starts everytime in windowed mode. I thought that maybe it's permission problem, so i tred to run game with Admin rights. Even reinstalled the game few times. The issue is still the same. :(
