A few years ago I began DOKI DOKI GRAVITY DIVE because
I wanted to know if I could make a game by myself.
And now... it's out!

Your health
--------------
   * This game contains bright and flashing visual effects.
If you, or anyone in your family, have an epileptic condition, consult your physician prior to playing.

   * Doki Doki Gravity Dive is a game with fast movement and gravity changing constantly.
As a result, you may experience motion sickness.
If you do, you can experiment with the CAM SMOOTH option (OPTIONS->THE REST)
which governs how quickly/slowly the game camera catches up to the player.

General
----------
   * If you are new to the game, please check out the CONTROLS and HOW TO PLAY menus
to familiarize yourself with all the mechanics of the game.

Technical hints
-------------------
   * The game can be played with a Gamepad, Joystick, Keyboard/Mouse.
Menus can be operated in a similar way, but Gamepad & Joystick support for this is limited.
It works fine with devices that Unity knows the layout of such as XBox and Playstation pads,
maybe others, but I cannot guarantee it.
However *all* Gamepads & Joysticks should work for gameplay. You may just need to remap the controls.

   * The game has three different screen modes: Windowed, Borderless, Fullscreen.
Fullscreen typically may give you more stable FPS, while Borderless/Window make tabbing-out easier.
Also resource usage usually differs from mode to mode and setup to setup.
So experiment and use whatever works best for you.

   * If you encounter a black screen while switching reolutions or otherwise, try launching the game
      with the argument '-force-vulkan'

   * If you are from the future and own a monitor with a higher refresh rate than the game's FPS cap
(which isn't perfectly accurate), enabling VSync from the game's options will remove this limit.

   * The game stores save data and logs in
'C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\LocalLow\MemoriesIn8Bit\Doki Doki Gravity Dive' on Windows and
'$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/unity3d/MemoriesIn8Bit/Doki Doki Gravity Dive' on Linux.

   * If you encounter a bug, please contact me (ddgd@8bit-memories.com) and
send the Player.log located in the save data directory.

   * In case you play with a mouse, the game should automatically capture the mouse when you start the gameplay.
If it doesn't for you, please drop me a message (ddgd@8bit-memories.com) and include the Player.log

   * If you wish to manage the game's save data externally, back them up, transfer to a new machine/OS, etc.,
you can do so from the save data directory:
         o HiScore.dat - stores high scores
         o SCtrl.dat - stores input settings
o SGen.dat - stores all other settings (Audio, Video and The Rest)
You can safely remove one or multiple files and the game should regenerate them just fine,
but if you tamper with them, it may start behaving erratically.

v1.0.1

The first update is here. Nothing really critical popped up over the past few days, but I figured I could get those things out of the way real quick.
* Fixed typo on 'first play' screen.
* Changed default value for Max FPS from 300 to 120 to not overwhelm slower machines on first play.
* Fixed Notification sound not playing when entering first solar in DIMENSION MODE.

[the update is live on Galaxy and should propagate to the offline installers within the next few days]
