When browsing a vendor's selection of Skill Books, upon highlighting one for its description, there is no indication as to what level the spell learned is. Is there a way to know without using a web resource? For example, I don't want to purchase a book that teaches a novice skill when I'm already at the maximum limit of that number of spells. I feel the answer is very obvious and I'm just not seeing it. Thank you for your help.

I assume you are referring to Divinity: Original Sin.

As I recall, the skill level is supposed to show in the spell description, but they fucked something up and broke this when adding the Chinese localization.

If you are using Galaxy, you might be able to roll back to an earlier version (I do not know what versions are available that way, since I do not use Galaxy myself).

Otherwise, you might try this mod.
Thank you for your reply; the fix you suggested worked. :)
