The Divinity Anthology will be available October 16th, and includes Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity and Divinity 2: Developer's Cut (including a Developer Mode, which enables lots of cheats, allows you to transform into any creature, fly around Broken Valley as a dragon early in the game, and more).

Order / pre-order at the Larian Vault and get an exclusive limited edition (signed by the team, and includes a digital copy of all three games on Steam, in addition to the DVD DRM-free versions).

Also included in the anthology are 2 soundtrack CDs (of game and previously unreleased music), a 130+ page digital art and story book, a behind-the-scenes documentary, stickers, a couple double sided posters and unique DLC items for the upcoming games Divinity - Dragon Commander and Divinity - Original Sin.

See the anthology website and announcement video for more details.

Awesome!!

Just a quick question or two.. Will the Anthology be coming to GOG? Or is it just Divinity II: Developer's Cut? Will Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity be updated to the Anthology versions in the latter case?
Last time I asked it had not been determined if there would be a GOG release of the anthology or Divinity 2 (there is a digital version of the anthology available from the Larian Vault), or if DD and BD would be updated (except that they would be if there were no issues doing so). I'll check again now that the anthology is officially announced.

Speaking of which, Swen Vincke has a new blog post about Hatching the Anthology.

Raze_Larian: Last time I asked..
It's cool, actually. I went straight to Larian Vault and picked up the digital version there.. :D

I just don't want to make a different account on every game seller, but I'll make an exception for certain cases.. :-)

Yeah, I've followed his blog for a while.. Very interesting articles.. :-)
quote from the official press release:
GOG.com will be offering Divinity II: Developer’s Cut
So as a whole package it wont be on sale on GOG ... instead it'll be available as separated (3) games.
I'm 100% sure DD and BD will be upgraded on GOG to the latest remastered versions from Anthology (DRM-free Windows 7 Remastered and supporting HD resolutions). Same price ofc.
It's even better because this way you can buy just the game you want/like or dont have yet on GOG (Divinity 2 Developer's Cut)!
Brilliant!

Hopefully remastered means "doesn't run like crap when you have more memory than a 32bit OS can register..."
Anyone can confirm if the games are remastered? I already own the old disc versions and I would be interested in buy this to support the dev but I would be very annoyed if I end up with the same old versions.

What "extras" or "goodies" does the Anthology have that GOG does not have?

I already own DD and BD. I might be interested in some of the additional goodies (particularly, soundtracks), but I am more than a little annoyed that I have already bought these games twice already... now I need to get them a third time if I want the extra stuff? Doesn't seem like a nice way to treat your early adopters...
I have The Dragon Knight Saga on Steam already, I hope the Director's Cut is a free update if it ever comes to Steam.
The performance problem with BD on 64 bit systems with more than 3GB RAM should be fixed. There were other performance improvements, as well, to help with possible temporary slowdowns entering new areas with tons of NPCs/etc on screen.

DD and BD will be updated. The 'remastering' consists of higher and widescreen resolution support and Vista/7 compatibility fixes. Due to an accident with the source code, the current download versions of DD contain a few bugs fixed in the disk version patch. The current GOG version of BD is the same as the patched disk version. Presumably both will be updated within the next week, or so; DD should have a couple skills fixed, etc, compared to the disk version, but neither have updated graphics or added game content.

I think the GOG version of D2DC contains all the extras from the digital version of the anthology. The extras in the disk version of the anthology are Steam version keys (not necessary if you have the GOG version), stickers, a couple double sided posters, and a couple DLC items for the upcoming DOS and DDC games.

Larian is working with Steam and Focus on a patch for DKS to add the Developer Mode (that is the only difference in the Director's Cut version).

GOG has a Pay What You Want: Divinity Anthology promo going on. From the Larian forum:
Good Old Games for the first time in their history announced a Pay What You Want campaign and we're happy to announce that the games featured included the entire Divinity series.

The very cool part about the campaign is that they have milestones (similar to kickstarter). New content is unlocked whenever those milestones are met, and if the top milestone is reached, we'll announce (and thus also develop) a new RPG, which I think most of you here will like.

Raze_Larian:
I preordered the Anthology on Larian Vault yesterday.. :-) I couldn't get a definitive answer about the LV Digital version of the Anthology, but will that come with the Steam keys too? Since the GOG versions are coming with the Steam keys as well?

EDIT: Never mind, I misread your post. Sorry about that..

Actually, Larian is working on adding Steam keys for all the Larian Vault games. It isn't a done deal, yet, but you may get Steam keys with the Vault digital anthology.

Oh, that's good! Hope it happens! My internet connection can be pretty iffy, and it's a big pain restarting huge downloads.. I've had 4 GB+ downloads quit on me when I reach 90% completion and it's damn infuriating. At least with GOG and Steam, their download client will take care of the downloading and I won't have to restart the entire download again.

Larian doesn't offer a download client like GOG, does it? This is my first time buying directly from the Vault..
@Larian

Can we get multilanguage support for Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity too, please?

Any idea if the sound problem on systems with multicore processors was ever fixed?
Thanks.
