There's been 5 full version updates, not 3

I've had patches for other games this week, which is why I think this is Larian, not providing the files to GOG, and just directly updating the Galaxy game files, which devs can do now,

Not all game receives patches, so it IS GOG.

Yeah looks like, they only update the game files through the client and let GOG packaging the whole thing.

If no patch are provided , i don't think GOG is able to create patch by themselves.*

It's like the client is becoming mandatory right now.

I written to larian about his.

I suggest like some others to not play the game (if you can do that) before GOG offers offline patches....

If only he game was small in size ......

Not everybody want install one client or multiple clients on their computer. (yeah sure clients makes things easier, no problem with thi point)

i written to GOG too, the issue was sent to the proper person,

I'm a bit worried about Larian, its seems they have more consideration for the Steam version, it's clear from the subforum there.

Nothing changed on Larian's side regarding how the game is uploaded to GOG between DOS2 Classic and the Definitive Edition (I've asked the people that perform the game uploads). As I mentioned before, there is unfortunately nothing Larian can do about this situation.

I'm glad you got a quick answer from GOG. I contacted them Friday two weeks ago about this (as a customer that got DOS2 by backing it on Kickstarter and redeeming it here) and still haven't gotten a reply (other than the automatic confirmation that they got my support request).

Well, ithe french support is faster then years ago (when there was only the one based in Poland)

Since you're in Belgium i have no idea if the support is the same as mine.

I got an update, and frankly, that was almost expected :

It's GOG's fault (ugh again !!!)!, dues to technical issue, however the reason aside it's a technical one, wasn't given (i'm not even sure the support has more knowledge than that...). Well GOG continues to be equal at itself ...sigh.

So to sum up, we could expect an offline patch, but when ? (that's the question), and i wonder if in the future for this game, the issue will continue or not (i hope not).

Personally i could play another game, but for others who can't...

IIRC Larian takes much more longer to answer.

It varies. But yes, touché :)

Yes, it varies, but since the definitive edition is out since only a few days, i guess the support could be hammered ;-)

But you could imagine as backer of both DOS games, i'm not really happy. (Larian is fine as dev, that's not the issue at hand)

Support also gets reinforcements at a time like this, so hopefully it should not be too bad. But there's the whole console release as well, of course.

I can.
This is beyond rediculous. I can't even delete the Classic folder without making galaxy crash when trying to update the game itself...

FUUUUUUUUUUCK this is stupid.
