Hi,

I've just bought Divinity II Enhanced Edition thinking it was the new release, but it was only after buying it that I noticed I was wrong.
I've also heard that the owners of the enhanced edition could have the definitive version for free, but I cannot find how to do it.
So here's my question : How can I update (?) my enhanced edition to the definitive one ?
If I can't, is it possible to get my money back in order to buy the definitive edition ?

Thanks to all !

This may be a silly question, but are you sure you bought Divinity Original Sin 2? Divinity Original Sin 1 had an enhanced edition, but Original Sin 2 has a definitive edition (not an enhanced edition). If you do have Divinity Original Sin 2, the definitive edition comes as a patch to the original game.

To confuse matters further, there's a Divinity II Director's Cut which is also completely different!

If you did happen to get Divinity Original Sin (1) enhanced edition, that is also a wonderful game, and I highly recommend it!

Like said above me, i think you have been confused with 2 titles

As far i know Divinity II was already the Developer' Cut since GOG started to sell it (i have it since 2012)

So you probably speak about Divinity Original Sin 2 , which got "updated" (well, the way how it's handled isn't pretty for sure) : so you have to download the whooping game again (if you want to play it right now, do it with Galaxy, there's no offline patch at the moment , which means you 'll have to redownload the whole thing each time -_-)

To sum up : the Definite version includes both version ; the classic & the definitve ones. You have to select which one you want to play at the menu screen (that's the reason the game almost doubled in size to d/l)

side note ; all goodies come with the Divine Ascension DLC (not required at all, but it's just in case you are wondering where are some extras)

And yeah many Larian's games have Divinity in their title, it could be really misleading ^_^
