I'm about to leave Act 3, but for some reason I'm stuck in the fight with the lava fireballs. I'm in a completely different zone after the cut scene, but combat never ends. Anyone else see this?

Yeah man, this happened to me as well. I sat there waiting for the fight to end for about 10 - 15 minutes and it never did. If I tried to collect the loot off the enemies I found that after a few turns it'd just grind to a halt and never end.

Eventually, I had to just abandon the area without taking the loot off any of the defeated enemies and leave through the portal in the couple of turns I had available before it "hung". Haven't had any similar issues since.

Sorry I can't really offer a better solution, however that's what I had to do to get through that area.

Had that happen to me last night, I was so confused. I 'fixed' it by making my party use their turn to get to the bottom of the ship. I also used the mirror of transformation, no idea if that actually helped though. Eventually the 'combat' ends and once you move the companions back up the dialogue with Malady triggers.
