Well, I didn't expect it to have so many bugs. It's annoying to be honest. About the story, a little contrived, definitely a rollercoaster ride. I'm not sure if I'm enjoying it too much though. I definitely miss the dynamic between characters from the first game.
I'm on my first playthough, finished some quests in Arx, currently stuck at "Old Means Gold" because Cat the Appraiser won't buy the quest stuff from me. Apparently it's a bug, and that's what annoys me about this game. You can never be sure if you're missing something, or there's a bug blocking your advance.
I'm a big fan of tthe first game and this one is a bit of a let down so far. I wish it was better polished, because the game could be enjoyable if it wasn't for the bugs getting in the way.

The bugs part and the not very well optimized part are true, on my system i can run pretty much all recent games at 8x with all maxed out with no issues, i have slowdowns at random here, especially in arx, with the last patch the cpu seems to stop loading the game entirely in fort joy sometimes while with the old patch i had no such issue
But this game is good, the ending(s) are horrible and stupid yes, some important choices are not even mentioned, but the game is really good, especially with some mods

You really can enjoy the game, I'm on my second playthrough and it feels much better than the first, maybe because I already know some stuff in advance.
