They were all on the nexus, but have been removed for copyright violation.
I can understand why.
I'm sure it's to make it harder for people who pirated the game instead of buying it from easily getting the patches they need ... although that doesn't explain why there shouldn't be a backlog of patches/hotfixes in peoples' game library. Then again if they know how to pirate it they would know how to also pirate the patches, so idk. Unless they needed to know the names and order of applying them from here.
As to Galaxy (I'm against it as well, but mainly because my laptop isn't the best and I don't want any bloatware if I don't need it - the exact reason I've been supporting GOG for a long time now; I hate steam with a passion) - I can understand why they would want people to get it: they need to be able to compete better with steam. My nephews, their friends - it seems most young whippersnappers use steam. I would guess GOG is trying to attract that demographic better. To be honest, I've never tried Galaxy because I'm afraid it will be just like the steam model and I don't want that taking up space on my comp. Maybe I'm wrong about it - but I'm oldschool and I don't see any need to use it when I prefer doing everything manually anyway (I don't even let windows update automatically).
I would say though - at least if that's the reason for not having the older patches - it's not the way to do it, because just by reading all the comments about it you are hurting your long time supporters who love this site and hate steam.
Games that have been out awhile - I get it, you only need to have up the latest patch. But this game is amazing, SO many people are buying it, and it is being patched so often many can't keep up and miss patches that were in their library but are gone in just a couple days before they are able to get them because the next one came out.
GOG - For very popular new games like this with a splurge of patches coming out daily, they really should be still in the game library for awhile. After things slow down THEN just have the newest one up.
