I just wanted to mention an inconsistency. It might already be changed for the release, but I thought I'd ask.

If you play with Lohse as your starter character, then your party remains loyal when the evil spirit takes over in the first scripted origin event. If she is in the party as a secondary character, the rest of the party instead sides with the general public. The result is dramatically different, and there's not much you can do about it other than run away and take a huge hit to your entire party's attitude scores for everyone in the room.

Hopefully these sorts of things are in a different state now. There is a general issue where you can't go into a turn-based mode manually, so the game has to either force you to take sides in advance, or you just have to watch turns fly by until you can do something to properly provoke aggro. In general, ambushes since D:OS1 have been not very satisfying because there's no way to synchronize spells outside of combat in single player. In this sort of state, having Lohse "leave the party" and then get in a fight with an NPC as a neutral might be sort of awkward to interface with, especially if you don't know in advance that it's going to happen.

Different behaviour as the player character and companion is intended.
That said, the reputation amounts are placeholder values in the alpha release, and since the last update the writers have gone over all the relevant plot points to make adjustments and changes (not sure if or what changes were made in this particular situation).

In this one case, it seemed a little weird for everyone to automatically take "your" side, even if you're the "protagonist". The argument could be made that this is more of a "Lohse is off her meds again" situation, not a "we have to murder everyone in the room" situation (or run away), if if your party is loyal to "you".
