My other 3 on the team are physical damage dealers, so I need a support/cc mage.

With the armor system, most status effects will get blocked.

I just started again after quite awhile to wait for patches, so I've forgotten a lot of the really good things I figured out the first time. I remember things like spreading out school points to get certain skills (polymorph for tentacle lash on my fighter, spread your wings for my archer; aerothurge for everyone to get teleport, etc) - so those things are coming back to me ...

I never did really figure out the best way to play a mage character in this team setup.

I know I'll need to spread out points for good skills, but probably focus most on a certain school ... any suggestions?
