I'm running a 16:10 aspect ratio also (1920 by 1200) and am experiencing the same issue, but if Fullscreen mode is disabled it is playable, IMO.

As pikkpi said, it doesn't go windowed and appears like a cropped borderless window. Not pretty but it works,
although it would be great if the problem was addressed in an update.
