Hey guys, dev here!

Apologies for not being more active on this forum. We're answering questions over on the Steam forum as well, so if you have a question that hasn't been answered yet, hop on over there and you might find it.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that v.1.16 is coming soon, which will have control updates, more camera settings (center your camera, yay!) and bug fixes. I'll post an announcement when it's all ready.
thanks for the update! it's an interesting game your team has made.
Is soon today? o:

This is the error message I get:

"Failed to initialize Direct3D.
Make sure you have at least DirectX 9.0c installed, have drivers for your
graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration
in display settings.
InitializeEngineGraphics failed"

I'm running Win 7 64-bit Home premium w/SP1 installed, 16 Gb RAM, i7 dualcore processors, and a GTX 970 card. I've got DirectX 11 installed, and 3D acceleration is not disabled.

Have you tried to download DirectX 9 from Microsoft? Though most games will have this as part of the installer, it appears Diluvion does not.

Windows 10 comes with DirectX 10/11, but not 9.

You should be able to get it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=34429
downloading now thanks.

i was wondering about 02...its important like food, etc . is there any way to better manage o2 loss.? such as speed / depth etc.?

do any of those things make a difference. am i hallucinating?

I have DirectX 11 installed on my machine. Does this game require an older version of DirectX to run? The error message says 'at least DirectX 9.0c' so I assumed that DirectX 11 would be fine.

in the past i have had the odd game give me DirectX errors.

whenever i redo a full Windows install on my PC i now also run the DirectX Runtime Web Installer from Microsoft. it downloads and installs a bunch of old DX runtimes as far as i can tell, even though i already have DX11 on my computer (Win10)

i've never had a DX error since with any game.

I'll give it a try, thanks.

EDIT: Went through the download, only took a moment, and it didn't fix the problem. :(

None needed - always great to see a dev jump into the deep end of a community (ha ha bad pun intended).

Just had to say, thanks a lot - loving the game and it's everything I had hoped for when I first heard about it. A ton of fun with a really organic, interesting control scheme and a great focus on exploration. I'm playing on a controller (something I've only started doing recently when it comes to PC games) and the "feel" is spot on.

Great game!
