I'm attempting to get the Robot to repair the lens and I confess I did read up on several guides which explained how to solve the puzzle.

However when I enter the correct colour code into the control panel then press the triangular button I'm told nothing happens.. in fact it doesn't matter what colour I enter the robot does not appear, what am I doing wrong or Is this some kind of bug, because I cant see any other explanation.

Would love some help on this so I can continue the adventure

It is quite strange. I have never experienced bug in this game. With "power on" robot should always work.

Did you leave the blue triangular crystal in the loose panel? It powers the robot, without it the room is dark and the robot doesn't work.
