Note. It is better to test each mod with gog installer first before you add new one to this topic.

0. Xtended
Xtended is a modification of Die by the Sword: Limb from Limb. It fixes bugs, adds new features and modifies many aspects of the game.

This is awesome, really thanks for the mods
Thank you for the mods,
I've played the demo and loved it back when it was first released.
I can't wait to play the full game :D
GOG FTW!
Have fun with the game guys! :)
I never thought, there are Mods for this old game... well, my download is ready now, so give me a few days to play the game and then I come back here...lol
Thanks for this Mod-Thread, Rysa
Thanks, that's great!
Been playing around with Battle Creator for a while, but the page doesn't allow me to attach.
Download from here: http://www.oxidized.com.ar/files/aHeHe.zip
Requires Death Knight to go.
If anyone did something please share !
Cheers.
To add on to the list, for those who find DBTS' graphics really horrible, there's a way to play in hi-res with all textures buffed up a bit. Not much, but you'll notice game will be smoother
1) Download dgVoodoo from http://dege.freeweb.hu/
2) Unzip all files to Die by the Sword directory
3) Run dgVoodoosetup, and configure both the Global and Glide settings until you're satisfied. You can leave everything at default, though, and just put Resolution to the highest setting and, and D3D textures bit depth to 32bits
There is also Zeckensack's Glide Wrapper

This is the finest I've ever seen the game; have been playing since it first came out, and never really stopped... it's my favorite game of all time. Thanks for pointing this out!
Is there any way to add slots to the keyboard for the custom made combat moves made with the editor?
I have an extensive background in RL Sword and shield combat and I was delighted to see I could make RL sword and shield combination moves in the game.
So far the best one for the game is dropping to your knees, holding the shield over your head and throwing the sword blow UNDER the shield at your opponent. This works GREAT as a combination attack and block, which is extremely rare in such PC games.
But only 4 slots?
yikes, not NEARLY enough for the custom moves, I do not think they realized how important this part of the game would be to players such as myself.
I guess some of you guys might be interested in Die by the Sword - Xtended. ;)
I'm not sure if it works with the GOG version of the game, but you will most likely tell me if not. :)

It works with the GOG version.
Not only that, but it's the only way I can get the game to run properly.
Highly recommend adding that link to the sticky.

Hey Hazard, with your mod I was able to pimp DBTS during the Interplay promo :D.
Xtended mod - not only does it fix the game (severe discoloration issues..) but it helps to sell it as well. I am expecting the next version to slice bread and clean the house :D.

I really love that new poor Hexler-model.
Four Hexlers with different factions in the arena where's some slashing blades I get a real mess with swingin' swords and limbs. Quite funny, actually.
