Mouse lags/stutters in game but at main menu it works smoothly. Is there a fix for this?

I have this issue also. It is very annoying.

Its the 20 FPS lock that does that. Blizzards FAQ says that there is some kind of framerate control in the GOG version, so I assume that it allows for a framerate of at least 60 (which will fix the mouse stutter and delay).

For me mouse lag is significantly less in window mode than in fullscreen.

I have the same issue (fullscrean and window mode). Hope for same patch or fix in near future.

Microsoft also confirmed the problem when it added a new known issue to the list available on the KB4482887 Cumulative Update page:

What version are you talking about? The classic or the dx?

I have a bit of unconfortable mouse feel when playing the classic version over windows 7, apart the irrational launch time, but the dx version seems to work fine, maybe it is just a "not so fast as windows pointer" placebo effect.

I am also having this issue. No matter the setting the game runs at 20 fps, and refuses to run in windowed mode.

Could this be the problem? There's an article on PCGamer about this particular Windows update having a detrimental performance effect on games and mice.

I'm on Windows 7 (64bit) so the problem must be somewhere else (or there is two different problems).

I haven't found a fix yet and so far all the suggested fixes haven't worked. BUT now that i'm running belzebub mod, no problems at all.

There's just been another fix made with a new download, specifically for mouse issues. Can anyone confirm if this has fixed it?

I only played some minutes but I would say compared to the version available on release the mouse does feel much smoother/faster now.
