I tried to make command.txt like for original Hellfire but it dont work...

You'll need to download a modified hellfrui.dll file in order to enable it with the command.txt method. You can find it on this page under the section "Hellfire Downloads":

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing a issue i been having on Hellfire GOG version, but no matter how many times i replace the files with files that i certainly know that it will enable MP, each and everytime i try to create a new character it will throw me a message about "can't create character".

Weird thing is, i been using my own Original CD for hellfire to play it it since Diablo got released on GOG. That specific folder outside of GOG works perfectly, while the hellfire inside GOG Diablo will just not allow me to create a character if i replaced any files to enable MP. I even tried to rename GOG Hellfire folder to "Hellfire_" and then move my fully working Hellfire MP folder over to GOG Diablo, and as soon as i run the game i still can't create a character. It's as if GOG Galaxy Diablo/Hellfire was checking for changes to the file, and it will prevent me from creating a character.

could be file write issue.

Hellfire multiplayer saves are created in C:\Windows as HIDDEN files, naming like hrinfo_#.drv, so give Helffire.exe admin rights so that it can write to the folder.

This is very weird, i got two different Install folders of Hellfire in different paths, one is GOG and the another is just my CD files with the 1.01 patch plus the hacked hellfrui.dll. I know where the game places the MP characters and i know that if i try to move them to another PC They will not work because it requires the same machine Name. But for some reason if i use my own Hellfire install i can create new characters. If go to the GOG one i can't, even if remove GOG hellfire and move my own to GOG/Diablo/Hellfire then my own install won't work either... so weird.

Downloaded this, and when I try to create a character in multiplayer a blank box pops up with no text and returns me to naming a character. Anyone know why???

I had a black box too, so I started the Launcher as Administrator, that works!
