In the wrapper settings, change scaling method: integral аnd preferably a resolution of 1280x960.
Start the game, select the Shader 4xBRZ.fx and adjust the strength of 2,000. Restart the game.

Nice, does this work with SDL? If so it should look even better when we enable true transparency, and straight lines in the automap in DevilutionX.

I saw a commit on github, that would be great. Unfortunately I don't know much about programming and I don't know if it works with sdl. Maybe it can help you https://sourceforge.net/projects/xbrz/

https://github.com/atheros/xbrzscale would definitely be an option (DevilutionX uses SDL2).
