Hi folks.

In the GSV-2 server room, when hacking hub #1, there is nothing there except black holes, and I can't get past them. Is there a trick, or some specific method for getting through them, or do I just have to keep trying and hope to get lucky. I did manage to get past some of the first ones a few times but then keep getting zapped and have to try again, and again, and again, and again...

Thank you.

Hi Hex1a4,

the first one is the easiest one. You just need the right technique. Just watch me. ;)

Wow. So black holes are actually dangerous then? In my Linux game they don't do anything except cause my shots to veer off if they go by close enough. I always thought that black holes were supposed to 'suck me in', like the white/blue Attractors do. But black holes never did that to me. I just tested, and I had to intentionally ram the center of a black hole to get blasted out of cyberspace. No force dragging me at all. Must be a bug I guess?

Which linux distribution do you have? I have just tried it on Ubuntu 16.04 and black holes works as they should - the try to suck me.
Sorry for taking a while to get back. Here's what System Info says about my Linux version:
Operating System: Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon 64-bit
Cinnamon Version: 2.4.8
Linux Kernel: 3.13.0-37-generic

Another Linux bug I read about and then experienced was that text was visible below the windows where it was supposed to be visible, as if the windows stretched all the way down to the bottom of the screen. Didn't cause any problems, but it was a bit unsightly. And it didn't start out that way, so I kind of wonder if I somehow made that happen by changing some setting which then didn't revert back the way it was supposed to. Or if keeping too many save games around made it happen.
No problem, thanks.

Well, the problem should be that Mint is not officially supported. There are many specific issues in linux distributions which takes too much time to fix. :/

Yes. That text overlapping is a known bug even in officially supported Ubuntu up to 16.04. A good message is that this is only a "small" graphic bug nothing less nothing more. I think it will not be fixed in the near future.
