Think about it, both came out the same year, both have more or less the same style of setting, both has elements including Aliens and Area 51, both has elements of Stealth and both has the same stlye of music:

Perfect Dark:

Sorry everytime I play this game I am reminded of Perfect Dark
Deus Ex is not really about aliens and area 51 per se but I see what you're getting at.

Someone should make a HD remake of Perfect Dark to PC, I remember playing multiplayer with my cousins and brother and I can't for the life of me remember how you bloody use a N64 controller in a FPS. :D

I tried the game (along with Golden Eye, also a favourite on N64) in an emulator and gosh, both are really hard (or I just suck).

Those games are way ahead of their times in terms of shooters on consoles, if they only been made on PC and/or Next Gen Consoles like The Original Xbox as the were but with improvments like better stealth mechanics, controls, and AI.
Indeed. I think they made a Golden Eye remake in Source Engine and there's a Perfect Dark adaption to 360 that actually looked great.
