The mod works fine but I'm trying to have a clean desktop so I tried using the AE and move the shortcut to the main folder. Now it's created an entirely "new game" like the saves are different between the desktop shortcut and the executable, as well as other things. the problem is the AE version is too dark to see anything and most of the menus are broken.

I've reinstalled, done all the basic shit and I'm out of ideas on how this even happened.

I'd like some ideas on what to do next,
