That's such a great suggestion, there are so many subtitles missing from spoken dialogue in this game it's absurd. It seems like the developers were not friendly to the idea of mods. I'd guess someone would have to build some tools without their help...

In theory, yes...
Check nexus mods, but all I can see is ONLY reshade mods or inventory mods, right now....
