So I got that part about needing an account for the cloud save. Only... where do I create one? On one steam thread I saw that the game is supposed to show me a button to create an account, but I can't find it anywhere. Neither can I find anything on the website about creating an account.

I feel... incredibly stupid right now.

It was a long time ago, but when I pre-ordered the game my account details were emailed to me automatically after my purchase went through. So, check your email?

You're not alone, I was stumped by the same thing. I even mailed the developers this afternoon, and apparently there should be a link to the account creation somewhere on the game's page on GoG. It may be that someone somewhere just dropped the ball, and forgot to put the link up where it should be. At least I couldn't find it despite my best efforts.

cannot find how to create an account too.

Cross-posting from the developer forums
When they order the game, there's a section that talks about cloud keys. If they go to their GoG account page (linked in the text that talks about cloud keys), they'll see their cloud key as well as the link they need to click on to redeem their key and create a DesktopDungeons.net account. That is literally the best we could do, given how the GoG systems can't talk to our backend like Steam does.
So if the link's not there, it looks like the problem is on GOG's end. Email support.

If you read the Gamedescription at the Shop...you will find a link to the Cloud-Key and the statment that the Cloud-Save is optional.
