I'm having an issue with trying to get a Logitech Gamepad, with the two analog sticks (like a Playstation) to work on Descent 2. Specifically, the game doesn't seem to take anything other than "keyboard only" as an answer in the options menu.

The in-game menu flashes away for a split second then comes back, as though the game tried to do something then gave up. However, my anti-virus program isn't causing an issue: If it was, it probably would have said that "application access was blocked" or something.

If I configure buttons on the controller to simulate keystrokes, the game doesn't react to those keystrokes either, but it does still respond to the keyboard. The game also does not seem to detect the mouse, either, as I cannot select "mouse" as an option.

I'm also not able to change the music type option from within the game either: I have to go into Descent 2's Config file in order to change it. (I changed it to play the MIDI music since that's how I played the game originally)

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you fix it?
