Shmacky-McNuts: Last I remember I didn't throw out my grandparents because they couldn't do the shenanigans the characters of The Matrix can do.
I throw them out and replaced them for $30 with clones that actually can do the matrix stuff. But hey, if you feel so attached to your old windows, more power too you.

*giggle* And I did throw out winXP in 2006 already, because I did needed the extra ram for work anyway. But again, if you do not need this at all, by all means, you can keep using DOS for all I care. Though i doubt that dos was your thing, keyboard centric ui seems not to be your thing. Be happy, my windows 10 is basically windows 8 with moure mouse alternatives to the keyboard shortcuts. Should suit your use case better.

Learned DOS when I was 8 years old. Used DOS Shell before windows 3. Still use DOS via DOSBox on various platforms. I just hate a tablet platform on laptop/desktops. It is illogical and the only people who find this useful already own a phone or tablet that fits their need. Which are not the majority of users in the past 30 years.

I'd probably like it if I owned a tablet or phone with it, but not on a screen any larger than 15". It gets messy and most people don't want to buy useless crap machines just to have the latest mountain of sh!t that MS people poop out lol.

It roughly says that the patched version should be already available for download, but in my library the Mac version is still 1.2.0.

P.S.: I bought Deponia yesterday and it runs very slow on my iMac (early 2009, Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz, 8 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4850). The language selection screen ​​is nearly impossible to use, as it takes several seconds per flag to change. Also the mouse pointer in the game is so sluggish and laggy that it is no fun to play this game.

Didn't see an answer so wanted to add this:

If the updater says "Installation not found" or something along those lines. It means the version you DO HAVE installed is too old. You basically have to re-download the main game file from GOG. THEN install it, THEN patch it.

The very first release was 2.0.1.9. The current installer is 2.1.0.10 and the updater is 2.1.1.11.

You need to have 2.1.0.10 installed for the update to detect the game.

Now as far as that goes, great. But on my system, 2...9 and 2....10 run VERY slowly. 2....9 doesn't even show any cut scenes. 2....10 fixes that but still runs terribly slow. The update however won't run at all, it pops up with an "Init Failed" error. Haven't figured that out yet.

Ok well I fixed the slowness by updating my Video Driver with the optional windows update. Not the official ATI driver.

If what I read was true it has something to do with OpenGL support on older cards. But who knows, game works fine for me without the update so far. Still would like to get the update to work but oh well.

Please re-download the Mac version. You should have the following file downloaded and installed: deponia_2.1.0.10.dmg :)

JudasIscariot: We've put up a patch called "Patch 3.2" on your game shelves (the 3.2 is the in-game version number!) for each Deponia game.
Deponia 2 for Mac is not updated! The current version of Deponia 2 for Mac runs with the old Engine and this game is very slow and stutters.... Deponia 1 and 3 are updated to 3.2. These games are running very smooth.
